The single printer soon wasn’t enough. Demand grew, and a second printer was added, followed by two more only a month later. What started as a hobby corner quickly transformed into a small production space.
A turning point came when a delayed filament delivery forced them to visit a local reseller. There they first saw the Bambu Lab X1, a printer that was faster, more precise, and capable of multicolor printing. Both Niels and Michael were so excited that each secretly planned to surprise the other by buying one. In the end, Niels ordered it first, just days before Michael would have done the same.
The new printer changed everything. Suddenly, what once took a week could be done in two days. It also opened the door to more complex and colorful designs. Of course, the first weeks brought plenty of failed prints and learning curves, but once they mastered the settings and materials, production reached a whole new level. A second X1 was purchased soon after, and the business kept scaling up.
Today, Niels and Michael live together and have dedicated an entire floor of their home to the company. One side is filled with printers running day and night, while the other serves as a packaging and logistics room. What once fit in a garage has become a full in-house production floor.
